Inter Halifax Soccer Club (IHSC) and Halifax City Soccer Club (HCSC) are pleased to announce the formalization of their newly updated partnership agreement, reinforcing a collaboration that has been in place since the founding of IHSC.
This agreement reflects a shared commitment to providing a clear and inclusive player development pathway. IHSC will continue to serve as the pathway for high-performance players, while also supporting programming opportunities for HCSC players as they progress through the development system.
Both clubs will work closely to align programming and create an environment that supports players at all levels, ensuring meaningful opportunities for growth, development, and long-term success in the sport.
“We’re excited to keep growing our partnership with Halifax City,” said Amanda Buckle-Pineau, President of Inter Halifax Soccer Club. “It creates opportunities in both directions - supporting City players as they move into high-performance soccer and giving our AAA players the chance to develop as leaders through junior coaching.”
“This partnership marks an exciting new chapter for our club and our players,” said Isabelle Nault. “It strengthens the connection between Grassroots and High-Performance soccer, creating more opportunities for players to develop, grow, and pursue their goals while continuing to feel supported within the Halifax City community. More deliberate focus on all levels of the game is key to continuing to grow such a popular sport. We’re incredibly excited about what this means for the future of our players and our club.”
IHSC and HCSC look forward to continuing their collaborative efforts and strengthening the soccer landscape across the region.

We acknowledge that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship” which Mi’kmaq, Welastekwewiyik (Maliseet), and Passamaquoddy Peoples first signed with the British Crown in 1726. The treaties did not deal with surrender of lands and resources but in fact recognized Mi’kmaq and Welastekwewiyik (Maliseet) title and established the rules for what was to be an ongoing relationship between nations.
Inter Halifax Soccer Club’ programs sit on the Traditional Territory of the Mi’kmaq. We are all Treaty people
